As we finish our topic, ‘The People Who Help Us’, we have been learning about the importance of dentists and looking after our teeth! We learnt that an egg shell and the enamel on our teeth are made up of similar substances! We placed an egg into different drinks with one egg being covered in toothpaste! We made our predications and waited for 3 days…
We discovered that the eggs in sugary drinks were discoloured and damaged. The egg which we covered in toothpaste was protected!
We are definitely going to make sure we take good care of our teeth.
