Year 1 have been doing lots of active, multisensory learning during Phonics! We made parrots when we learnt the p sound, threaded our names for the n sound, and practiced formation in sand/glitter trays!
Then, we took our learning outdoors where we searched for the sounds we have learnt so far in the playground. We found different pictures with the initial sound beside them. The sun came out too!
