Year 1 have been doing lots of new learning since coming back after half term. We began our new topic, ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ (Light and Dark), and have been enjoying lots of play-based activities. We explored Cuisenaire and build staircases 1-10 so the cow could jump over the moon! We invested 3D shapes and created some prints so see their faces. We’ve also been practising our phonics skills and learnt the sounds j, oa and ie.
