Year 1 have had so much fun doing lots of learning this week! We have made brilliant progress with our Phonics. We learnt the sound and formation of r and m this week. We wrote r in rice and created magic pictures for m! During STEM learning, we carried out an experiment to see if Humpty Dumpty would crack surrounded by different materials in the bag. We made predictions and talked about the results. During Numeracy, we explored making sets of 2 and searched for number 2 around the school before learning its formation. Also, we enjoyed Music as we learnt about the sounds of different percussion instruments!
