Year 1 have been very creative making coffee-filter butterflies during play-based learning. We designed 2 bun cases each and then added droplets of water using pipettes. We waited for them to dry overnight and observed that the water made the colours change and mix together! Miss Barnes helped us to fold the paper and then we added pipe cleaners. We carefully unfolded the wings to discover the beautiful patterns on our butterflies!
