This week, Year 1 have been having lots of fun as we revised and learnt more sounds and letters! We used a Thinking Frame for revision to sort the letters.
When we learnt z, we fed the zebra pictures of things with the z sound. We looked for the w’s in the water and used tweezers to place them into the correct baskets. We also made w’s with white stones in the tuff tray! Then, when we learnt the ‘ng’ sound, we made weights from play-doh and sticks, and practiced letter formation.
Everyone has been working so hard - well done!
