During Activity Based Learning this week Year 2/3 have been looking in more depth at our topic, Houses and Homes. We have been completing activities related to how houses are built and think about how to keep them stable. In the Construction Area we played the game 'Jenga' and tried our best to keep the tower from falling over. In the Small World Area we had a Dolls House. We pretended to be builders and built walls using miniature bricks in the Malleable Area. We also had a Home Role Play and built houses from loose parts.
